My Dad's Paternal Grandmother

This is my great grandma, Minnie Warren. My dad did not know much about her because her dad died when he was alittle boy and he did not get around that side of the family much. I have gathered a little information from my dad and a few family members. The Warrens have intrigued me. I have found census records indicating that they owned slaves in prior generations in Miller County, Georgia. Her ancestors were Moses Warren, James Irvin Warren, and Amos Warren. Moses Warren and James Irvin Warren both attended Harvard university and were attorneys. The family moved from Florida to Miller county sometime after Amos Warren was born. Amos Warren is Minnie Warren's dad. I have also found records were many of them fought in the civil war. When I have time, I am going to go to Colquitt, Georgia and see what kind of records I can dig up. I really would love to write a novel about this side of my family. I am so intrigued by them. Another puzzle I am trying to solve is the one about Minnie Warren's mom's family. Her Mom was Jane Waddell.
